"I fell in love with yoga in 2004 when I did my first Bikram yoga class.  The heat helped warm my body and become more flexible than I thought I was. The series is a perfect mix of stretching and strengthening, and the peace I found in savasana that first class I can still remember.

Many benefits are obvious in my life practicing yoga on a regular basis.  I feel calmer in difficult situations.  I feel more flexible, and I mean mentally, although of course I am more flexible phyically as well.  I find it quite humbling and enlightening to stare into a mirror and look for answers in my eyes for 90 minutes.  I am getting better at letting go of my expectations and simply doing my best each day.

The best way to learn is to teach and I have found my practice has improved my teaching and my teaching has improved my practice.  I am grateful to teach every class that I do.

His experience as a massage therapist has given him an in-depth understanding of the physical and physiological benefits of this challenging practice. He will challenge you with his energy, and is a fantastic resource for any questions you may have with regards to anatomy and yoga.

You'll find him here Tuesday and Wednesday nights, as well as teaching class at various other studios around the lower mainland.
