The legend of the 360 Yogathon began in 2008 when the Hanover family decided to do something a little bit crazy. Jen, Val and Bruce committed to practicing yoga every day for a whole year. Their goal – to raise $360,000 in pledges for Peace Arch Community Services.. Their goal – to raise $360,000 for Peace Arch Community Services. Some people thought they were crazy, but the Hanovers stuck to their commitment and raised an amazing $60,000!
With $300,000 to go, the Yogathon is back! This time, the Hanovers are asking for a little help from their fellow yogis.
360 Yogathon II presented by Bikram Yoga White Rock and ScotiaBank is all about teamwork. Teams will complete a combined total of 360 yoga classes throughout the year with a chance to win some great prizes, including a trip for two to Mexico, a year of unlimited yoga, and more!
All money raised goes directly to Sources, the new face of Peace Arch Community Services.
